Marc Jacobs took a break from prepping his Fashion Week presentations for Monday and Tuesday to support his close friend, former flame and party host Lorenzo Martone at the opening of Brazilian line Melissa Shoes’ first US boutique, Galeria Melissa. The SoHo store features a neon-colored installation by Brazilian artist Eli Sudbrack and new lines made in partnership with designers Gareth Pugh and Jason Wu. Guests included a pregnant Alessandra Ambrosio, Vanessa Hudgens, Dita Von Teese, Whitney Port, and Jeisa Chiminazzo, who appears in the new Tod’s women’s spring ad campaign.
