Before she was a Sports Illustrated bikini beauty, Kate Upton, 19, spent her Florida youth hanging at the Kennedy Space Center. “I knew my way around there better than I knew my way around my school!” Upton tells The Daily Dan, a Hamptons glossy launched by Dan’s Papers and The Daily Front Row. When asked if she ever wanted to be an astronaut, Upton quipped, “No, I was there for the dried food.” Photographer Gilles Bensimon shot the cover story, out tomorrow.
