Rooftop treat

Bill Clinton knows how to treat his staff. The former president showed up unannounced at the Empire Hotel rooftop Wednesday night. Arriving an hour after the place received a call asking whether they were open or not, 50 people from Clinton’s uptown office turned up. “It was a big scene,” describes a spy, who said it was a going-away party for a Clinton staffer and who saw the ever-friendly politico taking photos with hotel guests. Last weekend, Clinton was photographed with a porn star on each arm during a gala he co-hosted with Prince Albert of Monaco, and he attended a benefit during the week for Lauren Bush Lauren’s charity FEED.
