Pow Pow power

Susan Sarandon’s and Tim Robbin s’ son Miles is busy promoting his folk band Pow Pow, made up of Miles’ childhood friends. They’re recording their debut album this summer in New York. They performed at Ave A Soundcheck, the weekly party at Double Seven, a few weeks back, and recorded a session for the first Ave A Soundcheck Sirius XM segment hosted by DJ Whoo Kid and Nima Yamini on Eminem’s Shade 45 show “Whoolywood Shuffle.” Miles and Yamini head to Los Angeles this week for DJ gigs. The elder Robbins previously released the album “Tim Robbins and the Rogues Gallery Band,” self-described as “raggle taggle and rousing gypsy Americana.”
