Literary lions joined reggae’s first family Monday night when former HarperCollins head Jane Friedman hosted a bash at her home for Cedella Marley’s e-book, “Listen to Bob Marley.” Friedman’s Open Road Media fete — on what would have been the “No Woman, No Cry” singer’s 67th birthday — also brought Skip Marley and Karen Marley, Island Def Jam’s Michael Seltzer, Workman’s Bob Miller and former Scholastic president Barbara Marcus together. Over at another Monday lit party, the Sotheby’s shindig for Ali Wentworth’s “Ali In Wonderland: And Other Tall Tales,” guests included Sarah Jessica Parker, Mariska Hargitay, Parker Posey and Gayle King. And William and Kathy Rayner’s party for Charlotte Beers’ “I’d Rather Be in Charge” the same night drew Martha Stewart, who blurbed the book, along with Paula Zahn, Steve Kroft and Amanda Foreman.
