Choice for Elsa

Jenna Lyons, J.Crew’s arbiter of cool, thinks elder fashion icon Iris Apfel should helm the planned relaunch of the Elsa Schiaparelli label. “She’s so full of life, and she’s got an incredible attitude,” Lyons told us at a party for Uma Wang, visiting for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund China Exchange, at the W Downtown. “I don’t think she’d want to, but I think she would be amazing.” Lyons also had a baby-name idea for new mom Julia Restoin Roitfeld: “Grey for a boy or a girl. I really love the name.”
