WASHINGTON — The Republican-run House is poised to pass a repeal of ObamaCare next week — but don’t think the law is going away anytime soon.

The repeal is headed for certain death in the Democratic-run Senate after likely winning passage in a House vote set for Wednesday.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) yesterday called the repeal move “a gesture in futility.”

Still, House Republican leaders will keep the ObamaCare debate at the forefront, and that will keep their conservative base energized against President Obama and his Democratic allies.
