He just wants to bang on his drum all day — and night.

Jamel Wilson, a street performer who’s been featured on HBO and MTV beating a plastic bucket in Times Square, sued the city yesterday for $1 million over two arrests, one at about 1:10 a.m.

Wilson, 33, of Brooklyn, says the arrests in 2010 and 2011 — on charges later dismissed — violated his constitutional rights.

The arresting cop “falsely alleged” unreasonable noise and “abusive and obscene language” by him, Wilson claims in his Manhattan federal court lawsuit.

The city Law Department and the NYPD declined requests for comment.
