‘X Factor” host Simon Cowell is producing a new UK cooking show — which wags are dubbing “Eggs Factor.”

Cowell’s new show, “Food, Glorious Food!” will try to find the country’s best home-cooked food and will be produced by Cowell’s production company, Syco, according to a report in The Guardian.

The winning entry will be sold by London’s posh Marks and Spencer store, according to the report.

“’Food, Glorious Food! will scour the country in search of one very special dish that everyone across the UK will, for the first time ever, be able to buy and eat,” a source told The Guardian.

“A dish that’s not just good. Not just great. But glorious.”

“We are looking for the best comfort food that will cheer everyone up in these straitened times.”

Production on the show — which borrows its title from a tune taken from “Oliver!” — is expected to start next month, with a planned launch on Britain’s ITV network in February.
